WFB's Harrington Discusses Fallout of Biden-Warren Meeting

The Washington Free Beacon's Elizabeth Harrington discussed the political impact Sunday of the weekend meeting that reportedly occurred between Vice President Joe Biden and progressive favorite Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.).

As Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton has struggled in the polls with the weight of the private email scandal on her campaign, speculation has grown that Biden is considering entering the race.

Harrington said the support of Warren, a darling of the party's left wing, would be significant as he makes his decision whether or not to run.

"I think he was looking for her support," she said. "I think he's been listening to what other Democrats are saying. I think he's been following the Hillary email scandal very closely, and as it gets worse and worse for Hillary, I think the opening is bigger for him to jump in."
