At the AFL-CIO National Summit on Monday, President Richard Trumka had high praise for the keynote speaker, Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
"She shares our values. She really connects with us. She is a genius to when it comes to policy, and she is tough as nails when it comes to politics," Trumka said.
Hillary Clinton has never received praise like this from a big labor group like the AFL-CIO, which has caused some "teeth gnashing" within her camp. More than half of the Democrat county chairs in Iowa have Hillary as their second choice, so this praise will be a block in the Democratic primaries.
