Russian-linked hackers on Thursday leaked the private email of a White House staffer who works on Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, releasing an image purported to be Michelle Obama’s passport along with other internal documents.

Anti-secrecy site D.C. Leaks appears to have breached the staffer’s personal Gmail account, publishing messages dating from February 2015 to this past July.

The messages are largely related to event planning details, with one exchange unveiling concerns among the advanced planning team that the media might notice the presence of protesters at an event, Politico reported.

The White House has not commented on the breaches.

Earlier this month, D.C. Leaks published a cache of emails from Colin Powell’s private Gmail that included politically embarrassing messages. The former Secretary of State called Donald Trump a "national disgrace" and said he would "rather not have to vote" for Clinton in November, according to the leaked messages.

Intelligence officials have connected D.C. Leaks to the Russian cyber attacks against Democratic computer systems, including the Democratic National Committee.
