Report: 'Dancing With the Stars' Courting Sean Spicer

"Dancing with the Stars" wants former White House press secretary Sean Spicer to join the cast of the popular dance competition TV show on ABC.

An anonymous source told Page Six that the rumor that "Dancing" had reached out to Spicer "has legs."

Spicer resigned as press secretary last Friday, and has apparently spent the time between then and Wednesday in "high-level meetings" at ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox News. Page Six suggested that Spicer is seeking a job in broadcast news after his departure from the White House.

Some execs are very interested in Spicer, and "made the full-court press" for him, while others "just kicked the tires," a source told Page Six.

Spicer declined to comment on the claim that "Dancing" was interested. ABC told Page Six, "We don't comment on casting."

If Spicer did join the "Dancing" cast, he would be the second Trump associate to do so. Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry left the show for a far less glamorous gig — secretary of energy in the Trump administration.
