Hillary Clinton trotted out a attack line on Donald Trump Monday that she may want to keep in the chamber next time, saying of her potential boisterous opponent that we don't need a "bully in the pulpit."
It was a play on words on the presidency being considered a "bully pulpit."
"There is so much more that unites than divides us, and we're going up against a candidate who will pull us backwards on every issue we care about," Clinton said in a speech before the Service Employees International Union in Michigan. "We need a president who will use the bully pulpit to stand up for working families, but the last thing we need is a bully in the pulpit."
The audience at the SEIU responded with a muted cheer.
Trump's gonna win, isn't he? https://t.co/Lnqwjq0ZLq

Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, trailed Clinton by double digits in polling last month, but her lead over him has vanished since then. Clinton is still trying to put away the Democratic nomination against a feisty Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.).
