Fox News host Megyn Kelly probed media on why they cannot discuss the recent Oklahoma beheading as a potential act of terrorism rather than just "workplace violence."
The Obama administration and U.S. intelligence officials have said our nation is threatened most by homegrown radicals, but when presented with cases of radicalized Americans, the administration has ignored them.
Kelly’s guest, Brooke Goldstein, said the suspect Alton Nolen was a devout Muslim who was fired after he repeatedly threatened to kill female co-workers if they did not "conform to his version of Islam."
Nolen’s social media is "covered with jihadist propaganda including actual photos of beheadings," Kelly said. "Who does that?"
Kelly also mentioned Nolen attended the same mosque as Zacarias Moussaoui, a convicted terrorist associated with the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
Still, the Obama administration prefers to call this an isolated incident of workplace violence.
"That's the whole point," Goldstein said. "Those who cry Islamophobia do not want us to present the threat."
