A Federal Judge has ruled that Navy EA-18G Growlers can continue flyovers of an island on the coast of Washington state, despite complaints from some locals.

U.S. District Judge Thomas Zilly denied an injunction request from a group calling themselves the Citizens of the Ebey’s Reserve for a Healthy, Safe, and Peaceful Environment, the Seattle Times reports. According to the complainants, the flyovers, which the Navy uses to practice landings on aircraft carriers in preparation for fighting the Islamic State, are too noisy and are ruining their health. The group claims flyovers are "causing significant health impacts, including depression, anxiety, insomnia, elevated blood pressure, anger, and hearing loss," according to the Times.

Judge Zilly's decision will allow the flyovers to continue.

There are 82 Growlers stationed in the area with plans to add another 36 in the coming years.
