Ivanka Trump's clothing line reported record sales in February despite boycotts and the line being dropped from multiple big name retailers.

The department chain store Nordstrom announced last month that it would no longer sell Tump's clothing line and accessories, citing poor sales performance as its reason.

At the same time, the campaign "Grab Your Wallet" called for a boycott of retailers carrying any merchandise made by Ivanka or Donald Trump.

Other department stores such as Neiman Marcus, T.J. Maxx, and Marshalls have also made efforts to reduce Ivanka Trump merchandise in their stores.

The boycott has reportedly backfired, however. Sales for the first daughter's clothing line and accessories have jumped 346 percent from January to February, Refinery29 reported, citing e-commerce aggregator Lyst.

"Since the beginning of February, they were some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand," Abigail Klem, the president of Ivanka Trump's fashion brand, told Refinery29, "For several different retailers Ivanka Trump was a top performer online, and in some of the categories it was the [brand's] best performance ever."

According to Lyst, which tracks purchasing data from online retailers, Trump's sales increased 346 percent from January to February, and when comparing February 2017 to the average orders in 2016, brand sales increased 557 percent.

"The Ivanka Trump brand was ranked as no. 11 in sales for the month of February, a jump all the way up from no. 550 in January," according to Refinery29.

Sarah Tanner, the public relations director for Lyst, told Refinery29 that Trump's brand making the top sellers list on the site came as a shock.

"Ivanka Trump brand has never ranked in as a top seller on our site," Tanner said. "To see such an extreme spike in one month is completely unheard of and came as a huge surprise to us."

Trump has distanced herself from the fashion brand to avoid potential conflicts of interest while her father is president of the United States.
