Norah O’Donnell and Major Garrett revealed Tuesday morning on CBS’s This Morning that the Obama administration knew months in advance that the Obamacare website was riddled with problems.
Garrett told O’Donnell that some evidence suggests that the Obama administration knew as early as April that the healthcare website might not be fully functioning before its October 1st launch.
A study by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services reported the following red flags: too much dependency with too many outside contractors, not enough time to fully test the website, and lack of communication between contractors and officials.
These red flags had a snowball effect: October enrollment was only 20% of what the Obama administration had anticipated and Obama’s current disapproval rate is a whopping 55 percent, while only a mere 42 percent approve of him.
