James Capretta, a Senior Fellow at the Ethics & Public Policy Center, said on America's Newsroom that the so-called improvements to the Obamacare website were merely cosmetic and the site still didn't function as it was intended.
"If you're not worried about accuracy and the back end really working well, it's easy to enroll people," he said. "The website is really supposed to be about signing people up for insurance and making the right payment to the right insurance plan for the right family, and the system really can't do that yet. They've done a lot of PR around, 'Well, things are better for the consumer experience,' but this is not a functioning website yet. It doesn't really do what it's supposed to do."
CBS This Morning reported Monday that in spite of White House claims to the contrary, the back end of the Obamacare site was still not working.
