While her actual name day won’t be for another two days, Bar Refaeli spent this weekend celebrating her 29th birthday.
28 was a fine age for Bar. One would think her 29th birthday wish is to look as fantastic as Sharon Stone does at 56. I think she'll come out O.K.
Bar's accomplishments were many. Her debut as a television personality was a resounding success. She led the Israeli franchise of the singing talent contest X Factor to a strong premiere season.
While The X Factor Israel finished its first run with an average reach of 34.2 percent of TV households and a share of 47.8 percent of people watching TV at the time of its broadcasts, Rising Star averaged 33.8 percent and 47.4 percent, respectively. The X Factor Israel premiere episode also beat Rising Star with a share of 52.3 percent, compared to 44.7 percent.
She is also the first Israeli cover swimsmoke.
Bar was highlighted in the New York tabloids back in October when she expressed her desire to settle down soon and start a family. It's not everyday when one of the most eligible bachelorettes comes out and says she wants to be a stay-at-home mom. That Bar, she's a keeper.
She spent 28 loving life, something she is sure to carry over being 29.
However, the year has not been without its share of setbacks.
Her Instagram photo celebrating Israeli Independence caught some heat from Internet trolls, particularly the anti-Semites.
This is absurd: There’s nothing offensive about Bar.
Happy Birthday, Bar Refaeli!
