ABC’s Jon Karl Slams Obama

Do you think Mitt Romney had a point when he said Russia was America's biggest geopolitical foe?

During a press conference Tuesday ABC's Jon Karl asked President Obama if he thought, "Mitt Romney had a point" when he said in 2012 that Russia was America's "number one" geopolitical foe:

"In China, in Syria, in Egypt and now in Russia we've seen you make strong statements, issue warnings that have been ignored. Are you concerned that America's influence in the world, your influence in the world is on the decline? And in light of recent developments, do you think Mitt Romney had a point when he said that Russia is America's biggest geopolitical foe? If not Russia, who?"

Obama responded by calling a Russia a "regional power," rather than a top geopolitical enemy of the U.S.

"The truth of the matter is that America has got a whole lot of challenges. Russia is a regional power that is threatening some of its immediate neighbors — not out of strength, but out of weakness," Obama said.

"The fact that Russia felt the need to go in militarily and lay bare these violations of international law indicates less influence, not more," Obama argued.

The fireworks between Karl and Obama remind us once again that Romney was right:
