What is a Gary Johnson?
A Gary Johnson is a libertarian nominee for president of the United States, who smokes marijuana and sometimes cannot answer simple questions about major foreign policy issues.
Johnson’s latest gaffe occurred on Wednesday night when he was asked to name the foreign leader he likes most
"Who is your favorite foreign leader?" MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews asked.
Johnson was unable to answer the question. Instead, he said he was having another "Aleppo moment." The Aleppo moment refers to the time when Johnson asked "What is Aleppo?" when he was asked what he would do about the war-torn Syrian city as president.
Besides being unable to answer questions that presidential candidates should be able to answer, Johnson has some unusual behavior. In an interview with MSNBC reporter Kasie Hunt, Johnson talked with his tongue sticking out for no apparent reason.
Before running for president, Johnson was the CEO of Cannabis Sativa Inc., a company that sells recreational marijuana products. Johnson has admitted to using marijuana for recreation purposes but pledges that he will not smoke if he is elected president.
Johnson said his high school nickname was "Jaguar Johnson."
