White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough thinks that Hillary Clinton will be a "very good" president.
When asked about the 2016 presumptive candidate, McDonough said that Clinton "embodies" Democrats' ideas and policies.
"I feel really good about where the Democrats are," McDonough said.
It appears that the Obama administration is paving the way for Clinton to take over the reigns come 2016. Many senior level staffers from the White House and Obama's campaign have left to join Clinton's campaign. Clinton, herself, has upped her praise of Obama this week.
McDonough said he isn't worried about the inquiries of his team's relationship with their former primary opponent.
