Trump’s Plane Flies Over Cruz Right as He’s Talking About Trump

July 20, 2016

Donald Trump’s plane flew over Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) just as he was talking about Trump becoming the Republican nominee during a rally in Cleveland, Ohio, which is hosting the Republican National Convention.

"Our party now has a nominee," Cruz said. "And I don’t know–"

Cruz was cut off by boos from the crowd, presumably dismayed with Trump as their standard-bearer.

The crowd then went beyond booing and started pointing towards the sky, prompting the camera to pan upwards.

Cruz turned around to see what the crowd was pointing at.

Sure enough, Trump’s plane was flying over the rally just as Cruz was talking about him.

He started to laugh.

"All right," Cruz said. "That was pretty well orchestrated."

The camera zoomed in on the passing plane.

"Jeff," Cruz said. "Jeff, did you email them to fly the plane right when I said that?"

The crowd laughed before Cruz jumped back into the speech, which started off with him saying that he did not know what the future held.

But the question remains: Did Jeff orchestrate it or not?
