NBC’s Chuck Todd called the new poll numbers coming out of swing states "troubling" and "dismal" for Hillary Clinton Sunday on Meet the Press.
Clinton has seen her lead shrink over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), and in Quinnipiac’s polls for the states of Iowa, Virginia and Colorado, Clinton lost matchups with Republican candidates Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.), Scott Walker, and Jeb Bush.
Todd also said the negative trend in poll numbers comes out just as reports heat up about Clinton potentially sending and receiving classified information on her personal email.
The Wall Street Journal reported Clinton did send emails that should have been deemed classified over her private server. She has also seen her honesty numbers fall with voters over her deletion of more than 30,000 emails from the server.
