Subsidizing Losers

President Obama is touting his energy policies during the debate, but his policies have been to subsidize companies that go bankrupt.

Take A123, for example. The Obama administration granted A123, a battery manufacturer, a massive stimulus grant, totaling almost $250 million.

A123 was struggling after the loan, reporting losses of $152.6 million in 2010 and $257.7 million in 2011.

A123 filed for bankruptcy today, October 16th.

Mitt Romney accused Obama of not just picking winner and losers, in the last debate—"you pick losers," Romney said.
