Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus discussed the Washington Free Beacon's story about the New York Times during an interview with Fox News host Greta Van Susteren Friday.
"The point is, here we've got the New York Times story, and later in the day the Washington Free Beacon shows that citation after citation is coming from [opposition research firm] American Bridge," Priebus said. "What they're trying to do in Hillaryland is show the shiny object and move away from the real issue, which is someone who hasn't talked to reporters in months or driven a car in years."
The New York Times on Friday published a story about GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubio's traffic citations. The same day, the Free Beacon's Brent Scher found that records of these citations had been "pulled by liberal opposition research firm American Bridge, according to Miami-Dade County court records."
