The latest poll in the Colorado Senate race has Rep. Cory Gardner (R.) and Sen. Mark Udall (D.) running neck and neck, with the Democratic incumbent edging out his Republican challenger by one percentage point.
According to Rasmussen:
The U.S. Senate race in Colorado remains just as tight as it was before last week’s uncontested primary elections.
A new Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Colorado Voters shows incumbent Democrat Mark Udall with 43 percent of the vote to Republican Cory Gardner’s 42 percent. Six percent prefer some other candidate in the race, while nine percent are undecided.
The poll was based on responses from 750 likely voters in Colorado on June 25 and 26.
Previous polls have given Gardner a slight edge, which Udall has used to beg his supporters for cash. A recent campaign email cited a National Mining Association poll on June 12, which had Gardner leading Udall 47 percent to 45 percent.
