Republican David Perdue outraised Democrat Michelle Nunn by roughly $670,000 in the third quarter.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports:

Republican U.S. Senate hopeful David Perdue out-raised Democrat Michelle Nunn in the third quarter, which included his final sprint to a primary runoff victory and a flood of establishment money once he secured the nomination.

Perdue’s $4.82 million haul from July, August and September includes a $500,000 self-contribution during the runoff, bringing Perdue’s investment via loans and donations into his own campaign to more than $3.6 million.

Nunn raised $4.15 million in the same span. Neither campaign did not reveal how much it spent or the campaign’s cash on hand as of Sept. 30.

Perdue’s spokesperson, Megan Whittemore, told the AJC, "This surge of support shows that Georgians are united behind David Perdue and excited to elect him to the United States Senate… David impressively outraised Michelle Nunn because his message of real change in Washington is resonating with Georgians."

Nunn was outraised despite receiving help from big names such as First Lady Michelle Obama, former-President Bill Clinton, and recording artist Usher.
