President Obama took time this morning to discuss Nicki Minaj and whether she did or did not endorse Mitt Romney for president, with Power 953:

HOST: Mr. President, if you don't mind, we want to switch subjects. Just to get a little personal -- Sasha and Malia, are they big fans of Nicki Minaj?

OBAMA: You know, I don't think they really listen to Nicki Minaj that much. I think that -- but let's face it: They are now hipper than me. There's a certain point where your kids get old enough that they're just hipper than you are. Michelle and I, for folks 50 or -- she likes to point out, close to 50, because she's not 50 yet -- we try to keep up. We've got a nice hip-hop collection on our iPods.

HOST: One of the big stories this past week, was the fact that Nicki Minaj had a record with a line in there where it appears she's going for Mitt Romney.

OBAMA: Yeah, I don't think--I'm not sure that's what happened. I think she had a song on there, that, a little rap that said that. But she likes to play different characters.

HOST: That was probably Roman that did it.

OBAMA: So I don't know what's going on there.

The Washington Free Beacon fact-checked Minaj's lyrical endorsement last week and rated it false.
