Obama Gives 13-Minute Answer to Ezra Klein's Question on Obamacare

As part of the fanfare surrounding President Obama saying goodbye to eight years in office, the president sat down with Vox's Ezra Klein and Sarah Kliff at The Blair House on Friday to have a "conversation" about the future of the Affordable Care Act.

President-elect Donald Trump and a Republican-held majority in the House and Senate have said they plan to repeal a majority of Obama's signature law and replace it with an alternative health care reform plan.

Klein asked Obama how he became responsible for what people did not like about the health care law and how it would "hamper" the Republican effort to change the law.

Obama proceeded to answer Klein's question and continued on for 13 minutes and six seconds. Obama did say that he would join the efforts to repeal his law if the Republicans put up a replacement that is demonstrably better, but added that he needed to see it first.
