Hillary Clinton has no scheduled public appearances leading up to Sunday night’s debate against Donald Trump at Washington University in St. Louis.
The news comes Wednesday as many commentators believe that Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, performed better than his Democratic counterpart, Sen. Tim Kaine (D., Va.), during Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate. The Clinton campaign hopes to rebound with a strong performance from Clinton on Sunday night.

The Clinton team will be preparing for the second presidential debate, which will be moderated by CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Martha Raddatz. It will be a townhall format, with audience members asking the candidates questions.
As of Wednesday morning, the only event Clinton will be attending before the debate is a fundraiser on Wednesday night. The fundraiser, described as a "Women's Leadership Forum," will feature celebrities Eva Longoria and Julianna Margulies, with a musical performance by Estelle. It will cost $25,000 to be a host of the fundraiser, according to the Clinton campaign, and the event is sold out.
