Panelists on MSNBC say President Obama was not alone in Tuesday’s midterm election defeat.
"I don't understand how you keep saying that – Mika and Al keep saying that the president was all alone," Cokie Roberts said. "He went to states and campaigned for candidates that lost."
Roberts debated with Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski and guest Al Sharpton on who should take the blame for Tuesday’s debacle.
Al Sharpton characterized Bill and Hillary Clinton’s stops on the campaign trail as the "Calvalry" coming in to help an embattled Obama.
"Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, the Calvary’s coming in. The Calvary got beat," Sharpton said.
