London Mayor Boris Johnson is visiting New York this week as part of his United States tour to help boost London business. While riding a train to meet Hillary Clinton and Anna Wintour, the BBC asked Johnson about the comments he made in 2007 about Hillary Clinton.
Johnson had said that Clinton reminded him of a "sadistic mental health nurse." In the interview, Johnson laughed off the question and restated that his comments were "light-hearted in spirit."
He said he hoped Clinton would forgive them and would not take offense to them since the comments were from 2007.
