King Goes After Paul on Sandy Aid, Egypt, & NSA

'I don't believe Senator Paul knows what he's talking about'

Rep. Peter King (R., N.Y.) blasted Sen. Rand Paul (R., Ky.) on a variety of fronts Wednesday on CNN.

King went after Paul on Hurricane Sandy aid, telling host Wolf Blitzer Paul's suggestion that the Hurricane Sandy bill was loaded with pork is entirely off base and "every dollar was accounted for."

The New York congressman also suggested if Paul were really pro Israel he would have heeded Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren's stated opposition to Paul's bill which would have cut Egyptian foreign aid.

Paul's concern that the NSA program compromises privacy exists only "in his mind" and reflects a serious misunderstanding of the terrorist threat the United States faces, King concluded.
