Jehmu Greene: Trump Was 'Allegedly Elected'

January 16, 2017

Jehmu Greene, who is currently running to be chair of the DNC, told Fox and Friends on Saturday that President-elect Donald Trump was "allegedly elected."

Legal Insurrection reported this on Monday.

"So, what do you make of these remarks from John Lewis?" Pete Hegseth asked. "Obviously, a Civil Rights icon, but now is claiming that Donald Trump is not legitimate. What say you?"

Greene said that this problem isn't just with Democrats, but lies with all of America.

"He’s truth telling," Greene said. "I don’t think this is about just Democrats. This is Americans."

She followed this up with saying that anyone with a "smidgen of common sense" could remember Trump "encouraging" the Russian interference with his comments about Hillary Clinton's 33,000 deleted emails.

"Anyone with a smidgen of common sense can remember Donald Trump looking into the camera encouraging Russia to hack into our electoral process, cheerleading them on," she said.

Greene continued her answer by saying the FBI picked a winner and a loser to the election.

"And the idea that whatever information these members of Congress are getting out of this classified briefing had them storm out of that room makes it very clear that the decisions that the FBI made that were unprecedented to get involved in the election against Hillary Clinton, pick a winner, pick a loser when they had so much information that was so damaging," she said.

She then ended her answer by saying that Trump was "allegedly elected."

"What have we been talking about since this man was allegedly elected?" Greene asked.

Greene is a former adviser to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. She is also a political strategist.
