Howard Fineman, who covered Hillary Clinton’s last campaign, said Clinton was the establishment candidate last cycle and remains the establishment candidate. Fineman also said that the difference between this campaign and the last is that Clinton is telling people that she is listening.
"She’s not making any news about new proposals about the substance of her blueprint for the future of America and into that vacuum stories like the email controversy rush," Fineman said.
Late Tuesday evening, the New York Times reported that Clinton was asked about her personal email use little over two years ago. Congressman Darrell Issa sent the letter when he was leading an investigation on how the Obama administration officials handled the use of personal email. Clinton ignored the letter.
Fineman also said that Clinton putting herself in the position of a sitting duck for criticism and not just from the Republican candidates but also from all around.
