Former Democratic Senator Jim Webb dodged Chuck Todd's questions on Hillary Clinton's qualifications for president during a Meet the Press interview on Sunday.
"Do you think she's a good qualified candidate to be president?" Todd asked.
The question went in one ear and out the other, as Webb proceeded to detail the Obama administration's "pivot to Asia" and his leadership on the issue, holding back any commentary on Clinton's qualifications.
"You're smiling here, you don't want to talk about Hillary Clinton yet," Todd said. "Is that fair to say? You're not ready to talk about it?"
"I don't think it's for me to talk about Hillary Clinton," Webb said. "I enjoyed working with her when I was in the Senate. For me, I don't know what she's going to do, if she runs what she would run on, I'm just very concerned about these issues for the country."
