Brian Fallon, press secretary for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, said Monday he has a "very mild case" of something that’s not pneumonia in response to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asking about his own health.
"Let me state for the record, what I have is a very mild case of–I don’t even think it’s pneumonia, Wolf," Fallon said.
After having multiple people on the Clinton campaign fall ill, Blitzer asked Fallon how he was feeling.
"I know you have to run," he said. "So I’ll just ask you one final quick question. The type of pneumonia she has, is it contagious? I ask the question because you apparently have been suffering from symptoms over the past few days, similar [to] Robby Mook, the campaign manager, [who] has been suffering from some symptoms. Is this a contagious form of pneumonia?"
Fallon clarified that what Clinton has is not contagious.
Blitzer then asked how campaign manager Robby Mook, was doing.
"Happy you’re okay," he said. "How’s Robby Mook?"
Fallon said that Mook is feeling better as well. He did disclose, however, that he came to work when he was very sick and was probably contagious when he did that.
Fallon also said the rest of the staff dealt with it because "he’s the boss."
"Better too," he said. "He’s downstairs hard at work on our battleground strategy, and even when he was very sick, he was in here every day. He was probably contagious at a couple points but the rest of us just have to deal with that. He’s the boss."
