President Donald Trump gave his second State of the Union address on Tuesday night. The speech was well received by viewers, but not by Democrats in the audience. Even when Trump brought up positive developments, such as the fact unemployment for Americans with disabilities has reached a record low, Democrats often remained seated and avoid applauding.
There was one line that brought Democrats to their feet with a raucous applause, and that is when Trump announced record employment numbers for women. Democrats applauded for themselves because they credit Trump for helping elect a record number of women to Congress during the 2018 midterms.
Looking back at Trump's last address to a joint session of Congress, it appears not much has changed.
