Republican nominee Mitt Romney promised to deliver big changes in front of a big crowd Thursday night in Defiance, Ohio.
"This is a time for big challenges and a time of big opportunities," Romney said. "We have a big choice, and frankly we’re going to elect a president that is willing to make big changes. I will. I’ll get the country growing again with your help."
Joined by the singer Meat Loaf and Randy Owen of Alabama, Romney spoke to an estimated 12,000 Ohioans at Defiance High School.
"I don’t recall having so much fun in such a long time," Romney said at the rally. "I mean, Meat Loaf was here. Can you believe that?"
Romney will campaign in Ames, Iowa, this afternoon, but will return to Ohio Friday night with Rep. Paul Ryan.
