Under the table and dreaming of a bright Democratic future for Virginia, the drummer for Dave Matthews Band chipped in for Democrat Terry McAuliffe's gubernatorial bid per his most recent disclosure.
The Macker received $4,000 from Dave Matthews Band's Carter Beauford, as reported by Politico Influence.
Beauford is a Charlottesville, Va., native. Other donors, however, to McAuliffe's campaign have been more of a satellite nature, like Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos, a long-time friend and now donor.
Like ants marching, Democratic mainstays like Planned Parenthood Action Fund and the National Education Association Fund for Children and Public Education have fallen in behind McAuliffe, one of the party's most prolific fundraisers.
