Dana Perino: Harry Reid an 'Absolutely Poisonous' Disaster, Very Good for World He's Retiring

During an interview on the Hugh Hewitt Show, Dana Perino called Sen. Harry Reid (D., Nev.) an "absolutely poisonous figure."

The comment came after radio host Hugh Hewitt mentioned how Reid said Jeb Bush showed more "common sense" when he called for a vote on Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch than his brother George W. Bush did in the eight years he served as president.

Perino served as Bush’s press secretary.  She defended her former boss from Reid’s comments.

"I think it is very good for the country, for the world, and especially for the Democrats that Harry Reid is retiring," Perino said. "I have not seen anything so abhorrent in my life as Harry Reid."
