The Clinton campaign continued a pattern of claiming ignorance to what wiping a server means when spokesman Brian Fallon said he did not know what "wiped" means in a Thursday interview with CNN’s Briana Keilar.
"I don’t know what wiped means," Fallon said in response to Keilar pressing him on why Hillary Clinton felt it necessary to delete all her emails.
Clinton joked about her deleted emails when she celebrated that Snapchat messages "disappear all by themselves." Shortly after, Clinton again joked that she wiped the server with "a cloth or something," She still refused to say why she wiped the server and whether it was her or a staff member that cleared the emails.
Jennifer Palmieri admitted to John Heilemann she did not know how wiping a server works in a disastrous interview two weeks ago.
Keilar continued to push Fallon for answers to why his candidate didn’t offer the server to the government agencies instead of paper, and later digital, copies of her emails.
"I don't know what wiped means," Fallon said. "Literally, the emails were deleted, that’s true."
