House Speaker John Boehner released a new video Wednesday, calling upon President Obama and Senate Democrats to act on the numerous bills passed by the House aimed at creating jobs.
"The American economy, the greatest in the world, is stuck in a new normal: high unemployment, stagnant wages, slow growth," the ad, narrated by Boehner, begins. "But we can do better," Boehner says, as the ad shows clips of bills passed by the House addressing jobs, energy, energy, education, agriculture, healthcare, and others.
"But Senate Democrats are standing in the way," Boehner continues, "and President Obama is just standing on the sidelines."
"Mr. President, what are you waiting for?" Boehner concludes.
