Hillary Clinton's Good Morning America town hall Thursday showcased a rather awkward moment for one of her enthusiastic supporters outside.
ABC weatherman Rob Marciano found Alex, a 17-year-old and apparently a diehard Clinton fan who could not wait to vote for her in an upcoming New Jersey primary.
"When do you turn 18?" he asked.
"May 2! Two weeks!" Alex said.
"You can't wait to vote. You're from New Jersey, so that's going to happen," Marciano said.
"Yes, New Jersey's a very important primary," Alex said. "We're coming out. We're showing our support. Excitement and energy is all that we're about! We want to show Hillary Clinton we are committed every step of the way—"
The audio faded and Marciano then cut in.
"All right, I've got to go man," Marciano said. "Here's your local forecast."
The crowd around the young man laughed as the segment went to ABC's local weather.
