Video: ‘Iran Deal Is a Threat to Entire World’

New ad hits Democrat senator

September 22, 2015

A nonprofit group in Colorado is out with a "shocking new ad" hitting incumbent Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet for his support of the Iran nuclear agreement.

The 30-second spot shows children from around the world counting down from 10 in English, Hebrew, German, Spanish, Arabic, Italian, Russian, Chinese, and Swedish.

"Then video of a mushroom cloud explosion cuts off the last child as she says, ‘one,’ with intense sound effects and a lasting piercing noise, depicting a nuclear attack from the leading state sponsor of terror," Advancing Colorado said.

"A nuclear Iran is a threat to the entire world," the ad reads. "Senator Michael Bennett supports Obama’s Iran deal, is jeopardizing our safety. Ask him why?"

Advancing Colorado, a free market nonprofit organization, took out a six-figure television and digital ad buy, targeting Bennett who is up for reelection in 2016.

Bennet acknowledged the Iran deal was "flawed," but nevertheless announced his support of it earlier this month.

Numerous Democrats have supported the deal despite their own warnings it will cause Iran to increase its terrorist activities in the Middle East. Iran has increased funding to Hamas and Hezbollah since the accord was reached in July.

"Bennet will go down in history as sacrificing Americans in the name of Obama, to give terrorists nuclear weapons, training, arms, cash, and ICBMs," said Advancing Colorado executive director Jonathan Lockwood. "He chose global chaos and terror over world peace, America and Israel’s safety and security, and ignored the outcry from his outraged constituents who begged him to oppose the deal."

"Bennet is a dangerous puppet, and we will never forget he voted to hold the American people hostage and sided with terrorists and madmen to silence the innocent people he represents here in Colorado," he said. "The deadly consequences of this foolish deal will be on his hands."
