Video captured by a witness shows the first moment when shots rang out at Sunday night a concert on the Las Vegas Strip, ultimately leading to at least 50 deaths and hundreds of injuries.
The gunman opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel into an outdoor country music festival where Jason Aldean was performing, causing confusion and chaos that can be seen in this raw footage obtained by the AP.
Shots can be heard at second ten of the video, and continue for several seconds before a pause of more than 30 seconds.
Another video obtained by Breaking911 shows the view of those at the ground level, fleeing as bullets rained down on them from above.

The shooter, identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, was found dead in his hotel by Las Vegas police, according to a release from the department. The attack occurred after 10 p.m. local time.
UPDATE: 8:48 A.M.: This story originally stated Paddock was killed by police. It has been updated to reflect a department news release that he was found dead by authorities.
