Joe Scarborough blasted Donny Deutsch Thursday morning on MSNBC’s Morning Joe for Deutsch’s downplaying of the White House’s subsequent coverup of newly released emails about Benghazi.
Deutsch tried to say that the Benghazi attacks and coverup of emails was "fools gold" for the 2016 election and largely a nonissue, telling the panel that he was speaking about "political strategy."
Scarborough fired back, telling Deutsch that the White House is guilty of employing "political strategy" when addressing Benghazi.
"When it’s Democrats, it’s politics. When Republicans cover it up, it’s scandal. It should be on the front page of The New York Times. It would be on the front page of every newspaper in America. But when Democrats cover up, you think it’s rude political games…It’s a disgrace," Scarborough said.
