President Barack Obama admitted to Rolling Stone that he has overseen a tepid economic recovery.

The fact of the matter is that times are still tough for too many people, and the recovery is still not as robust as we'd like, and that's what will make it a close election.

Republican nominee Mitt Romney has focused his campaign on the same fact, blaming Obama’s policies for the slowest post-recession recovery in history.
