Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D., N.Y.) defended President Obama's failure to get legislation passed through Congress by praising his governing abilities and recent dinners with members of Congress, including a dinner tonight with women members of Congress during an interview on MSNBC Tuesday afternoon with anchor Andrea Mitchell.
Gillibrand also praised women members of Congress as "great advocates for the kind of reforms that this nation needs."
Mitchell responded, "Well, I'm not going to disagree with that."
