Joe Sestak: ISIS Too 'Racist' To Join Forces With Boko Haram

Joe Sestak, who is planning to run for Senate in Pennsylvania, last week said that the Islamic State (IS) is too "racist" to join forces with African terrorist group Boko Haram and that the pledge of alliance to IS (also known as ISIL or ISIS) by Boko Haram was "not anything meaningful at all."

"The ISIS group is very racist," said Sestak. "They do not, and their statements have said, appreciate African-Americans—or Africans, excuse me."

Sestak added that Boko Haram does not have the same standards of Islam as IS.

"The type of Islam that is practiced in Africa does not meet the tenets of fundamentalism that is practiced by ISIS," Sestak said.

"This is not anything meaningful at all," concluded Sestak.

Following Sestak's comments, IS announced it had accepted Boko Haram's pledge of allegiance and urged fighters from around the world to migrate to Africa and join Boko Haram.

Intelligence experts said the African terrorist group has now achieved unprecedented power and prestige in the region.

Sestak also suggested last week that American soldiers are being pressured to go to war for Israel.
