Iran will not let International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors enter its Parchin military base for a second time, Israel Hayom reports.
The second visit will not be allowed because Parchin is a military base meaning inspections are not required.
An Iran International Atomic Energy Organization spokesman said President Hassan Rouhani allowed an inspection while serving as Iran’s chief negotiator
"In a meeting between President Rouhani and [IAEA chief] Yukiya Amano, President Rouhani reminded him that 'when you requested to visit the facilities in Parchin for the first time, I said yes, you can go to Parchin and everywhere else, and you can collect samples. But it can be allowed just for once as it is a military base. A second visit will not happen.'"
Western intelligence agencies are concerned research on explosive devices relating to nuclear weapons is taking place at the Parchin facility. Iran denies such research is being conducted.
