House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R., Va.) said the House GOP would be willing to repeal the sequester if the president and Congressional Democrats agree to address entitlement reform on "Fox News Sunday."
Cantor characterized entitlements as "the real problem" and said reforming the programs is a far more preferable way to address spending reduction than sequestration.
Democrats have signaled they are averse to such a proposal, calling Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's (R., Ky.) plan to replace the sequester cuts "crappy."
