Pueblo, CO teen surrenders to police after seeing himself on TV

A Pueblo, Colorado teen surrendered to authorities after local media aired surveillance footage of a robbery suspect dressed as "Batman," The Pueblo Chieftan reports.

The suspect allegedly recognized his likeness and contacted police to turn himself in:

A suspected burglar in a Batman shirt and mask, who with two others broke into the Colorado State Fair, has turned himself in.

Undersheriff JR Hall said the suspect is a 16-year-old boy who surrendered to Pueblo police after seeing his likeness on television late Thursday.

The trio stole televisions, a laptop and an empty cash register. The suspects managed to lock themselves in the building and had to break out.
