The man, the myth, the legend, the Mooch.

Anthony Scaramucci has a long and storied history in politics. The hedge fund manager donated to Hillary Clinton, fundraised for Barack Obama, and during the 2015 primary denounced upstart candidate Donald Trump.

But somewhere along the way, the Mooch saw the light and embraced #MAGA. In July he was appointed White House communications director, and Washington was taken by storm.

While previous administrations were obsessed with PC language, the Mooch always said what he was thinking, even when he really, really shouldn't have said what he was thinking:

  • "Reince is a fucking paranoid schizophrenic."
  • "I've done nothing wrong on my financial disclosures, so they're going to have to go fuck themselves."
  • "I'm not Steve Bannon, I'm not trying to suck my own cock."
  • "What I want to do is I want to fucking kill all the leakers."

At the time, Scaramucci's rants were criticized by the fake news liberal media, who ignored his excuse that he didn't realize it was on-the-record. But later it emerged that the reporter Mooch made the remarks to has a little bit of a problem understanding consent, so we're giving him the benefit of the doubt retroactively.

Alas, the flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long. The Mooch lasted only 10 days in his White House office, yet another victim of the swamp.

Today, he is the founder and proprietor of the Scaramucci Post, a news source that gained a following by wisely pitting journalists' massive egos against each other in Twitter polls. Since its creation, the Scaramucci Post has made a name for itself by asking questions few other outlets have dared to utter.

For accomplishments beyond measure, Anthony Scaramucci is a Washington Free Beacon Man of the Year.
