WFB's Ellison Barber Discusses Another Obamacare Backend Problem

Insurance companies saying not everyone who signed up for Obamacare will be covered right away

The Washington Free Beacon's Ellison Barber appeared on Fox News Monday to discuss another backend problem with Obamacare: that many people who think they've signed up successfully online during a recent surge are not actually covered yet by insurance companies.

The average costs to people who are paying for coverage they aren't receiving yet is a burden, Barber said, and while moving the sign-up deadline helped consumers, insurance companies were still faced with the Jan. 1 deadline.
