Virginia Man's Premiums, Deductibles Skyrocket Due to Obamacare

Virginian Jim Corb says his premiums and deductibles have increased because of Obamacare.

"It went from $55 a week in my paycheck to $139 a week in my paycheck. Our deductible went from $375 per person to $2000 per person," Corb told WDBJ.

He added, "If you ask anybody else where I work or on the street, everybody whose insurance has gone up feels the same way- that the Affordable Care Act is the reason."

Corb believes the rates have spiked because the insurance companies’ costs have shot up, explaining to WDBJ, "They have to cover people who aren’t insured, they have to cover people for preexisting conditions that they were able to deny before."
