U.S. Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) defended President Obama’s policy of "tax fairness" in an Andrea Mitchell appearance Tuesday. Coons also labeled government deregulation a "Bush" economic policy.
COONS: There are some very large questions here in front of the American people in the election about whether they want a federal government that works hard to promote tax fairness, that makes possible equal access to opportunity and to education, and that tries to grow our economy by investing in it, or that simply tries to return to Bush economic policies of deregulation and tax breaks for the wealthiest.
